Helen McCabe joins PodcastOne to launch ‘Future Women Leadership Series’ podcast

One of Australia’s most respected and influential media icons and founder of women’s network Future Women, Helen McCabe, is the latest expert to join the PodcastOne stable, with the ‘Future Women Leadership Series’ podcast set to be released on Tuesday 2 July.
 
Hosted by McCabe, it shares insights from some of the most influential women on the sometimes-complex challenges faced by women on the path to senior leadership.
 
Helen says “This podcast contains some of the best talks I’ve heard on leadership and encompasses a wide range of voices and insights.We’ve cherry-picked the best and edited the talks into highlight packages, so it is super-engaging and informative”.

From TV, to newspapers, to magazines and digital, McCabe has been a leader and trailblazer in the Australian media industry in a career that spans more than twenty years.
 
With vast experience across multiple platforms, including her role as Editor-in-Chief at The Australian Women’s Weekly, and more recently as Digital Content Director for Nine, McCabe was responsible for leading the evolution and launch of Nine’s women network, 9Honey.
 
Last year, Helen launched Future Women, a subscription-based club for women to help develop and promote professional and personal success, that also offers members access to exclusive content and events.
 
The first series of the Future Women Leadership Series podcast, features some of the stand-out speakers from the recent Future Women Leadership event, including Global Head of Design for  the Australian software company, DeputyLisi Schappi, founder of the multimillion-dollar business MyBudget, Tammy Barton, and Aubrey Blanche who heads up Diversity and Belonging at software giant Atlassian.
 
From exploring the reasons why female leaders deliver higher revenue, to how to cope with failure and building your own sphere of influence, the series offers invaluable lessons on leadership, for both business and personal life and McCabe says "I know I am a far from perfect as a leader, but I am also time-poor, so I wanted to create a podcast that offered bite-sized tips that were easily digestible, with each episode delivering a different perspective on tricky areas in leadership."
