Hottest 100 of the Decade voting opens next week

Voting for triple j’s Hottest 100 of the Decade begins on Tuesday with the countdown on Saturday 14 March.

The 2010s saw the rise of once-in-a-generation artists like Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey and Kendrick Lamar; Australian acts like Gotye, Sia, Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett and Tones and I took over the world; Producers like Flume and Alison Wonderland went from their bedrooms to stadium shows.

So what are the songs that soundtracked the last 10 years? What are the party tunes, breakup anthems and make-up songs that remind what a killer decade it really was?

And what songs were robbed the first time around?

Check out the archive of past Hottest 100s for inspiration and listen to triple j in the lead up to the big day as they play all the best music from the past decade and discussing what made it hit so right.
