Hughesy and Kate take different to a new level

Nova 100 has launched a new marketing campaign in Melbourne for Hughesy and Kate in the morning. The concept revolves around Dave Hughes, Kate Langbroek and Ed Kavalee being different and not taking themselves too seriously.

It is simple concept using a strong visual to create impact. The idea is similar to the current iSwap Face application, available on iPhone, which allows users to transfer one face onto another morphing the individuals.

Nova 100 Program Director, Todd Campbell has told radioinfo: “We wanted to create an unusual campaign that was visual rather than relying on words. This idea made us laugh, we’re not sure why, so we knew it was right. It is a confronting, borderline disturbing, mental flash followed by recognition of the team and hopefully no one will drive off the road in between!”

Billboards will be located in-bound on major roads around Melbourne beginning this week, with the campaign running for several weeks.
