India Trade Mission for radio and media industry palyers

Austrade is conducting a trade mission to coincide with the largest event for the entertainment industry in India, FRAMES 2007. It is on from 26-28 March 2007 in
Mumbai, and is organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and
Industry (FICCI).

The Indian radio industry
is estimated to be worth approximately A$80 million and is
project to grow to A$350 million by 2010.

Austrade is encouraging radio people, as well as film and entertainment companies, to attend the conference as part of the subsidised trade mission. By participating in the mission companies will be able to:

* represent your company at the Australian
Pavilion at FRAMES 2007 in Mumbai;

* meet potential partners and customers;

* develop a pipeline of opportunities with new and
existing partners;

* benefit from Austrade’s business matching,
marketing and other collaborative services in the
market and region;

* gain insights into the Indian entertainment and
media industry.

Last year more than 1500 delegates attended from
around the globe, including the United States,
United Kingdom, Singapore, Germany and the
United Arab Emirates.

Participation is recommended for decision makers
or export advisers from entertainment and media companies, and
film, television, radio, animation and mobile games media
sectors.

The Indian economy is among the fastest growing
economies in the world with more than 8% GDP
growth predicted for the next few years. It is
predicted that by 2032 the Indian economy will be
the third largest in the world.
