Jase & PJ’s Perfect Pour goes off twice in a week

The KIIS 101.1 breakfast duo’s first on air competition netted two lucky listeners each $10,000.

Radio hosts Jason “Jase” Hawkins and Polly “PJ” Harding set the challenge for their listeners to correctly pour exactly $10.00 worth of fuel out of the KIIS 101.1 Petrol Pump bowser as the competition rolled out across Melbourne at a different location each day at 7am and 8am weekdays.

The task was simple but after two weeks of gallant attempts – and even one listener getting as close as $9.99 – no one was able to hit the magic $10 mark at the bowser – that is until last Monday when listener Zoe had her turn at Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre.

Thirty-four people back-to-back attempted the unreachable figure that day with the competition going into overtime as Jase & PJ announced they would run Pour Till You Score, to guarantee $10,000 to go to one lucky person.

The challenge was re-set with listeners given more chances for the $10,000 to go off.

On Thursday before the long weekend kicked in, it didn’t take long before listener Natasha made her attempt at the bowser count, pouring exactly $10.00 in to help fuel a cool $10,000 for a romantic trip to Europe with her boyfriend.
