Outspoken footballer and media figure Jason Akermanis will this year be heard across Hobart as he joins Heart 107.3’s Kim & Dave each Monday and Friday for his views on the news and most talked about topics of the week.

With more than 300 AFL games and 8 years in radio and television to his name, the former Brownlow Medallist is no stranger to the spotlight, and is not backward in coming forward and presenting his opinions on breaking stories and issues circulating in the public domain.

Akermanis says he is “delighted to be joining the team,” and to be able to share his insights, thoughts and opinions with the people of Hobart throughout 2011.

“I’m excited to be playing footy for the Glenorchy Magpies and now playing on Hobart’s biggest breakfast radio show.

“I’m known for having an opinion, being controversial and I’m definitely not scared to say what’s on my mind… I just hope that management at Heart 107.3 are ready for me”.
