Jason Costa is back at 2CA after a 17 year break

Jason Costa has joined Canberra’s Forever Classic 2CA as Program Director and Workday presenter.

Jason takes over from Marc McCreadie who has been 2CA’s program director and workday presenter for the past five years.

He started his radio career at 3YB Warrnambool in 1990 as nights announcer, moving to 2CA in 1994 before taking on the role of Music Director in 1996, then Group Program Director of the Capital Radio Network from 1998 – 2003.

Jason’s career then took him into shopping centre marketing while often still being heard on weekend radio shifts. Now after 17 years Jason is back as 2CA Program Director in 2021.

He says “I’m super excited to be returning to the Capital Radio Network and being part of a great team of radio professionals.”

2CA General Manager, Michael Jones says “It is a pleasure to have Jason Costa return to 2CA to guide the station’s programming through this exciting and innovative period in the radio industry. With 2CA broadcasting from its state-of-the-art studios, the growth in DAB listening as well as listening through streaming and smart speaker platforms, the station is well positioned for the next phase in its long history in the Canberra region”.

Jason commences with 2CA on January 11, 2021 and will present the 9am to 2pm shift on weekdays.
