Jeremy Cordeaux moves to FIVEaa weekend breakfast, Matthew Pantelis takes evenings

FIVEaa Evening presenter Jeremy Cordeaux will move to weekend breakfast in 2021.

After five years as Adelaide’s leading evenings broadcaster, Jeremy has made the decision to have a change of lifestyle and move into Weekend Breakfast.

Jeremy Cordeax is “over the moon with the opportunity to host weekend breakfast. I want to thank the station for their support throughout my decision, and for providing me with this wonderful opportunity to reach a new audience and continue the journey with those that have already joined me on the way.”

Matthew Pantelis will take over the evening shift form Jeremy.

Pantelis makes the move after almost 25 years with FIVEaa, in a multitude of roles including News Director for the past 15 years.

Matthew Pantelis said: “I grew up listening to the greats of Adelaide Radio, Bob Francis, Neil Humphries, John Vincent, Leon Byner and or course the great Jeremy Cordeaux.  It’s so humbling and amazing to be given the opportunity to follow in their footsteps.

FIVEaa Station Manager Craig Munn said: “Jeremy is a wonderful broadcaster that has entertained Adelaide audiences for more than 40 years, we did not hesitate to accommodate his wish to continue with his career on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Likewise with Matthew, his understanding of all things Adelaide, coupled with his outstanding broadcasting skills makes him the perfect fit to entertain and inform our listeners as Adelaide’s only live and local Evenings program through to Midnight each weeknight.”

Evenings with Matthew Pantelis commences Monday 18 January and Weekend Breakfast with Jeremy Cordeaux starts on Saturday 23 January, 2021
