Jo Stanley’s childhood dream comes true

Things got a little emotional this morning on GOLD104.3‘s Jo & Lehmo breakfast show when Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann presented his co-presenter Jo Stanley with a very special surprise. 
 
Jo was given the first hard copies of the new children’s books she has written, all about girls playing football.

It’s the first time Jo had seen the finished products and she teared up at the sight of her colourful creations.
 

 


 
The Play Like a Girl books are out on 1 September in partnership with the AFLW and Bonnier Publishing for children aged 8+.
