- Biggest Mover: Jonas Brothers & Karol G up 211 spins to No.18 with ‘X’
- New Music: Sia releases ‘Together’, debuting at No.26 with 320 spins
- Heating Up: Katy Perry’s ‘Daisies’ gains 18 places, landing at No.29
The Jonas Brothers and Karol G took out the biggest mover title this week on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart, with ‘X’ up 211 spins to No.18 during its second week of airplay.
Across Australia, 18 stations spun the track with KIIS1065 Sydney out in front with 37 instances, followed by KIIS 101 Melbourne adding 36 plays. Hot Tomato on the Gold Coast and KRock Geelong both began spinning the track this week adding 9 and 15 spins respectively.
Sia released ‘Together’ which garnered 320 spins during its debut week. The Nova network showed its support, accounting for 45% of the week’s airplay. The Hit, KIIS and Nova networks all put the track on high rotation while Hot Tomato, NEWFM Newcastle and triple j also added spins.
Katy Perry entered the chart at No.29 with ‘Daisies’. The track earned 295 spins across 16 stations with the KIIS Network accounted for a quarter of the week’s airplay. Star104.5 on the Central Coast made the biggest change in airplay this week, from 4 instances last week to 15 this week.
