3AK has announced the appointment of Sam Kekovich and Jane Holmes as its breakfast team for 2003.

Talk 1116 3AK “had an impressive array of personalities available for the breakfast session.” The pair will present breakfast from Jan 13th 2003.

Sam Kekovich is a media personality and former football superstar. Commenting on his appointment he said: “I am absolutely excited and privileged to be working with a radio icon in the form of Jane Holmes and excited about the opportunity of presenting breakfast in my home town of Melbourne. I expect to present a package that will be a reflection of Melbourne for the man and woman in the street. I will have fun.”

Jane Holmes has had an extensive career in Melbourne radio. She is currently “a leading star” on 3AK stablemate 3MP. Jane said, “I want to rise to the new challenge of talk radio. I have worked with animals before and believe that Sam will be easily kept on a leash,” Holmes said
