KIIS provides soundtrack to fashion show

ARN’s KIIS 101.1 has taken centre stage at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) this month providing the soundtrack to the iconic annual event which celebrates all things fashion, arts, ideas and creativity.

As the official media partner, KIIS presented the soundtrack to the Festival Plaza with the KIIS Live Stage as DJ Lauren Mac and DJ Claire Elliot hit the decks with a mix of popular anthems that had the crowds pumping from 5:30 – 11:00pm every night.

The Festival presented the country’s largest consumer fashion event in the heart of Melbourne from 1 – 19 March featuring world-class runway shows, state-of-the-art production, beauty workshops, retail events, industry seminars, forums and live entertainment.

The partnership also included KIIS national Drive show Hughesy & Kate’s on air competition which gave listeners the chance to win a trip to VAMFF with their #HKModelLyf promotion, while the 3PM Pick Up’s Yumi Stynes played host to VAMF’s International Women’s Day Forum champagne breakfast that featured a panel of dynamic and inspiring women to kick off the Festival.

ARN’s Chief Marketing Officer Anthony Xydis said the partnership reflected KIIS 101.1’s commitment to reflecting the energy and culture of Melbourne.

“KIIS is passionate about connecting our audiences with the pulse of this great city and we’re committed to building meaningful partnerships with some of Melbourne’sbest celebrated events.”

“VAMFF is such an iconic Melbourne event that also has national significance and so we couldn’t be happier to partner with the Festival for the first time in 2017.”
