Benztown, P1 Media Group, Global Radio Ideas Facebook Group, Radiodays Europe, Radiodays Asia and RDE Podcast Day have announced the winners of The Coronavirus Radio Ideas Awards with Sydney’s KIIS 106.5 winning the Best Social Media Video for their Social Distancing video.
The Coronavirus Radio Ideas Awards honoured radio and podcast professionals from around the world that have used their brands and platforms in creative and innovative ways to better serve their listeners, partners and communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The nominees were selected from more than 300 ideas nominated by industry professionals around the world.
The Awards were announced overnight, and other winners were:

- Best Social Media Visual: Magic 92.5, San Diego
- Best Community Spirit: Share The Kindness, BFBS, Scotland
- Best Sales Promotion: I Want Free Ads, NRG Radio, Kenya
- Best Mega Promotion: Times Like These, BBC Radio 1, UK
- Best Reporting Journalism: Coronavirus Update, NDR, Germany
- Best Podcast Creativity and Entertainment: Wash Your Hands, BBC Radio 4, UK
- Best Podcast, Long-form Storytelling: Buscando Una Luz, Podium Podcast, Spain
