Kygo & Whitney are getting higher : AirCheck Survey

  • Highest Gain: Marshmello & Kane Brown’s ‘One Thing Right’ up 31 places to No.32

This week Kygo took out the  biggest mover title on the latest AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart, reinventing Whitney Houston’s ‘Higher Love’. Receiving airplay on 23 stations nationwide, the track was up 230 spins to land at No.13. Last week 97.3 Brisbane, The Edge Sydney and Star 104.5 on the Central Coast all jumped on board, adding the track to rotation. KRock Geelong was out in front spinning the track 42 times, with many plays during breakfast and throughout the day.

After the huge success of ‘Dancing With A Stranger’, Sam Smith returned with ‘How Do You Sleep?’, debuting at No.29 with 242 spins as the KIIS network backed the song in its first week of tracking, with its Sydney and Melbourne stations accounting for 52 spins.

Marshmello teamed up with country singer Kane Brown on ‘One Thing Right’ and the track rose 31 places to take out No.32 with 238 spins. Nova1069 Brisbane was the track’s top supporter adding 32 plays.

Guy Sebastian’s ‘Choir’ continued to inch ahead at No.2, leapfrogging Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s ‘I Don’t Care’, leaving only a 30 spin gap to Shawn Mendes in the top spot. Sheeran’s ‘Cross Me’ featuring Chance The Rapper & PnB Rock re-entered the Top 10, meanwhile ‘Antisocial’ entered the chart at No.39, totalling 5 places held by Sheeran on this week’s airplay chart.
