Lauren Phillips tipped to move onto breakfast at KIIS

Will Lauren Phillips jump from TV to radio to so-host KIIS 101.1’s breakfast show with Jase Hawkins?

Melbourne’s Herald Sun is reporting (subscription required) that Phillips is the hot favourite to replace Polly ‘PJ’ Harding who quit the show and headed back home to New Zealand last month.

Lauren is no stranger to KIIS listeners having hosted their summer breakfast program last year, and she is already well known through TV in Melbourne.

She impressed when hosting “summer breakfast” for the KIIS in December and is deeply entrenched in TV, presenting the weather on Weekend Today, as well as co-presenting the Victoria-based travel program, Postcards.

The Herald Sun says no official statement has been made by KIIS, publishing the following announcement from the station yesterday, “We are looking forward to making an announcement soon as to who will be joining Jase Hawkins on the KIIS 101.1 Breakfast show, but at this stage PJ ‘Polly’ Harding’s replacement is yet to be signed.”
