Leading podcast experts headlining the Audiocraft Festival next month

Now in its fourth year, Audiocraft Podcast Festival will be held in Sydney from May 31 – June 2.

Programmed as part of Vivid Ideas, 400+ podcasters will converge on Sydney for three days of provocative talks, live events and invaluable networking opportunities.

At Audiocraft 2019, you’ll learn from the best and brightest in the audio game.

The lineup includes:  

  • Avery Trufelman (99% Invisible, Radiotopia),
  • Jonathan Zenti (Voxnest/Meat),
  • Natalie Tulloch (Spotify, NYC),  
  • Mark Pesce (The Next Billion Seconds, PodcastOne),
  • Travis De Vries (Broriginals),
  • Stephanie Van Schilt (Sisteria)
  • Tim Roxburgh (Unravel, ABC)

Friday May 30th features workshops at the CMTO in Redfern, the conference day on June 1 will be held at AFTRS, and the third day of the festival includes workshops and listening sessions in the Botanic Gardens.

The conference day will be “a thriving hub for experienced and emerging audio makers looking to learn from the best in the podcasting game and connect with other makers.”

Sunday Sessions at The Calyx, Royal Botanic Garden are for podcasters and the pod-curious. Ticketed events include field recording workshops amongst the trees, live podcast shows from the future, intimate panel sessions about the industry, and listening parties on the lawn.
