Lewis Capaldi was the first in the Red Room for 2020

Smash hit Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi wowed Melbourne fans on Saturday night, performing in the first Nova’s Red Room for 2020.
 
The 22-year-old singer-songwriter performed in front of over 300 fans in an intimate show held at the Chapel off Chapel in Prahran.
 
Hosted by Mel Tracina, Nova 100 morning announcer, celebrity guests in attendance included Chrissie Swan (Chrissie, Sam & Browny breakfast show), Nova 100 afternoon announcer Jamie Row, DJ Rojdar, Neighbours actor Sharon Johal, Ten News journalist Candice Wyatt, Love Island’s Jessie Wynter, Matt Zukowski, Todd Elton, Eoghan Murphy and Cartier Surjan, The Voice’s Madison Krstevski and Jackson Parfitt, Married at First Sight 2018 Carly Bowyer and Samuel Levi from Married At First Sight NZ.


 
Joking and bantering with the audience throughout the performance, Capaldi was not a fan of the Lamington flavoured potato chips a fan encouraged him to try  and left the door open to attend a wedding after being handed a save the date for their upcoming nuptials in Melbourne.
 
Big applauses came when Lewis performed his hit songs including Forever, Bruises, MHWYW and Before you Go and the crowd sang along as he wrapped up this special show with his smash hit Someone You Loved.

 Australian superstar Guy Sebastian is set to return to his hometown of Adelaide, for an exclusive performance for Nova’s Red Room, on Friday 14 February.
 
To celebrate their first ‘official’ day on air, Nova 919’s new breakfast announcers Ben & Liam, today made the announcement.
