The Lids Fly, a new greyhound racing radio show

Greyhound racing will get a new dedicated show, The Lids Fly, Thursday nights on SENTrack, hosted by Jack Heverin and Greyhound Racing Victoria’s Molly Haines.

Simulcast on 1116 SEN in Melbourne, the four-hour show will kick-off this week with the commencement of Sandown Park’s May Carnival, which will see Australia’s fastest greyhounds compete for the club’s three traditional May Group 1s, the Sapphire Crown, Harrison-Dawson and the RSN Sandown Cup, each carrying $71,000 in prizemoney.

The Lids Fly will take all races live, including the supporting program of special event ‘Best 8’ races over each distance through to the end of June.

Greyhound Racing Victoria Chief Executive Officer Alan Clayton said he was delighted to have SENTrack’s support of the sport. “Our May Carnival has long been a highlight on the national grehound racing calendar and we are delighted that SENTrack will devote Thursday nights to showcasing our prestigious May Group 1 races and beyond.”

Listeners will also be able to participate in a unique ‘Inside Track Club’, a live video conference before each race, hosted by Australia’s best greyhound tipster Troy Little.
