The dynamic duo of radio celbrate 10 years sind they were first manacled together.
On This Day, January 2005 or thereabouts: Tom Cruise went bananas on Oprah’s couch, John Howard was still Prime Minister and Makybe Diva won a third straight Melbourne Cup AND Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones & Amanda Keller hit the breakfast airwaves together for the first time on WS FM101.7.
Never short of a few words on an auspicous occassion, Jonesy said, “It seems like just yesterday that I convinced Amanda to come and work for me, um, I mean, with me. I’m really looking forward to celebrating this year with the best co-host and friend anyone could ask for and, of course, our audience, who make coming to work so much fun.”
“I really can’t believe it has been 10 years already. We work with such a wonderful team and have fantastic listeners who wake up with us every day, I probably shouldn’t say this but it really doesn’t feel like work at all. We can’t wait to put our mark on this year and couldn’t be happier to continue doing what we love,” said Amanda.
To celebrate their 10 years together the pair are set to throw the “Party of the Decade.”
