After five programs, The Lonely Hearts Club, which our golden-eared readers revealed two weeks ago to be hosted by a combination of comedians which include Tony Martin, has reached number one on iTunes’ Australian podcast chart in the Health category. The show airs on Radio National, Saturdays at 10pm.   

Men’s hearts, health, hip pockets and happiness have been getting airtime on ABC Radio National since 12 February when The Lonely Hearts Club, an 8-episode series about love, loss, laments and ladies, premiered.

 
ABC Publicity says The Lonely Hearts Club “explores a broad range of topics with health experts, celebrity guests, regular segments and audience contributions.” radioinfo reckons it’s pure satire.
