Mel Greig back on Radio in 2016 on Wave FM.
Mel Grieg, one of the announcers embroiled in the now infamous “royal prank” affair is finally ready to “return to what I love.”
Greig will be joining Travis Winks on the Wave FM Breakfast Show in Wollongong.
“I’m so grateful to be given the opportunity to return to what I love. Dean Kesby the Content Director was one of my first bosses in radio and I can’t wait to work with him again, the Wave family have been incredibly supportive and welcoming,” says Greig.

Her warmth, enthusiasm and experience are going to be great attributes to the Wave family. We love Mel’s genuine excitement and passion for radio and the anticipation for the move to Illawarra. Mel is already heavily involved in her community surroundings and is an avid charity ambassador, we can’t wait to see her get involved in the Illawarra community too.”
Grieg’s keen on community too, “To have the ability to use your voice to inspire others or to help people by sharing your own experiences is a rewarding and incredible job to have.
I can’t wait to start on air and to start exploring the South Coast and discovering everything it has to offer. I’m pretty sure this big goofy smile that I currently have on my face will be firmly planted for months to come,” says Greig.
