Metro Survey One begins, regional dates also locked in for 2021

Jane Kennedy’s departure from Triple M’s Kennedy Molloy was the last piece in the programming puzzle to fall into place as Survey 1 began for 2021.

After a year of disruption to the GfK survey schedule, the metro and major regional centres of Newcastle, Gold Coast/Tweed Heads and Canberra will all be in survey by the middle of February.

.
Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth all began Survey 1 on Monday with the results due on March 11 and most interest surrounding the nine new breakfast programs around the country and the re-entry of  RSN 927 into the Melbourne survey.

Newcastle will begin a Blind survey on January 31st  with 12 weeks of the ‘in’ survey period fixed and known to the market while the actual eight weeks of placement, from the published 12, selected at random and the dates withheld from the market, i.e. they are not aware the weeks the sample is being placed, hence the term ‘blind’.

Canberra’s survey also begins on January 31st while the Gold Coast/Tweed Heads starts two weeks later.

The metro markets are back to the full eight surveys for 2021 while the major regional’s get three each.
