Multicultural AFL Football TV & Radio Show is back for 2019

The weekly Multicultural AFL TV Panel Show produced by multicultural community broadcasters is back this Thursday and will be distributed nationally across the NEMBC’s 60 community radio stations, as well as AFL news podcasts, in seven different languages including English and to community Television audiences in Victoria and South Australia and nationally on Foxtel/Aurora.
 
NEMBC director of the Football program, Fiv Antoniou, says “Our expert panel on the Multicultural AFL Radio and TV shows love the game as much as you do. They are passionate for spectacular marks and great goals. They bask in euphoria when a team wins well, but they also feel the agony of a one-point loss.
 
“Over twenty-eight weeks the Radio Podcasts deliver 216 hrs of news, reviews, previews, interviews and live match commentary for radio programs nationally in 8 diverse languages; Arabic, Dinka, Hindi, Greek, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish, and English.
 
“The Radio and TV programs are available through NEMBC’s social media and website or on Soundcloud, Whoohska and TV on YouTube.”

NEMBC is also launching a new weekly pilot TV and Radio series All About A-League covering the round ball game from the Socceroos to the Matildas and the final 10 weeks of the A-League competition, including the finals.
 
The weekly show produced by the NEMBC for Community Television C31 in Melbourne and Geelong, CH44 Adelaide and nationally on Foxtel, will also be broadcast on radio across the NEMBC’s 60 community radio stations and also podcast via the Community Radio Satellite Network.
 
The A-League director, Ms Santina Cotela says: “Our expert panel of Multicultural broadcasters love the great game as much as any supporters. They are passionate about Australian soccer from the National team right down to grass roots football. They say it as it is and aren’t frightened to ruffle feathers.”
