Music crossovers in Melbourne see The Fox and Nova share a third

With Survey 3 results out yesterday, AirCheck Australia have tallied the music crossovers in Melbourne during the last four weeks.

Comparing the CHR stations, 101.9 The Fox and Nova100 held the highest crossover sharing 31.2% of their playlists.

Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s ‘I Don’t Care’ was the most played song across the two Melbourne stations earning 428 combined spins, and the collaboration was also the most spun song between KIIS101 and Nova100, which comes as no surprise as it was the most played song on AirChecks National Radio Airplay Chart last week.

Meanwhile, Triple M and Gold 104.3 spun 29.8% of the same tracks with Choirboys’ ‘Run To Paradise’ the top shared track with 46 spins. There were 242 tracks shared between Gold and smoothfm equating to a crossover of 20%.

During this time The Fox played the greatest range of music, spinning 1,119 different tracks.
