NAIDOC week continues on triple j

From 6 – 9am tomorrow morning, two of Australia’s most critically acclaimed hip hop artists are taking over triple j BreakfastA.B. Original, made up of NIMA winning rapper Briggs and Trials from hip hop group Funkoars, will be bringing the fun, telling stories and playing all the tunes you love.

From 7am Friday, previous NIMA winner, Robbie Miller, will play an original and a cover for triple j’s flagship music segment Like a Version

All this week on triple j Unearthed you can catch Feature Artist, Emily Wurramara (pictured). Born on Groote Eylandt in the NT, Emily is now based on the Gold Coast and sings in both English and Anindilyakwa. She took some time out from the biggest tour of her career to pop into Unearthed to talk about home, studio snacks and her debut EP Black Smoke.

Plus triple j Unearthed will be playing stacks of incredible Indigenous music throughout the week, including the best Unearthed High entries so far.

And you can listen to 5 new Indigenous artists you need to hear on demand right now.
