New CBF board announced

The CBF has announced its new board with appointments commencing on July 1st
 
The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance, operation and strategic development of the Community Broadcasting Foundation.
 
The Foundation is the major funding body for community radio, receiving funds from government to distribute as grants in the community broadcasting sector.
 
Former Victorian Politician Peter Batchelor continues as President, with other appointments including radioinfo’s Steve Ahern, ethnic broadcaster Luchi Santer, former SYN manager Bryce Ives, and  Christian Media Australia’s Nathaniel Garvin, as well as a range of professionals form outside the broadcasting sector.
 
Other new appointments were made to a range of CBF committees including the Sector Investment Advisory Committee and Grants Advisory Committees.
