New media business show launches next month on Ticker TV

A new Ticker TV show dedicated to the business of entertainment will look behind the curtain of Australia’s billion-dollar entertainment industry.

Inside Entertainment will air every Wednesday from July 1 at 2pm AEST on Ticker, featuring interviews and analysis of the week’s top headlines and trending topics.

Hosted by journalist Jake Challenor, the program will examine the business of music, television, radio, comedy, digital, social and technology.

A revolving door of newsmakers, reporters and commentators will join Jake to unpack the big stories and share their unique perspectives.

Jake is the publisher and editor of music trade publication The Music Network and also our competitor Radio Today. He hosts the Music Daily podcast and talks radio on Ticker Today with Ahron Young every Thursday.  We don’t normally cover our competitors, but as this is a beneficial industry wide initiative from Jake, we at radioinfo wish him well in the new program.

Ticker CEO Ahron Young says: “Jake has a whole lot of passion for media and together we want to celebrate the best of Aussie entertainment. This is a challenging time for the entertainment industry, but as things come back on line, we want to share the stories and give the industry the voice in desperately needs.”

Ticker is Australia’s first dedicated streaming network for business news, with a focus on tech, startups, innovation, media and travel.
