New website maximises online potential for FM 103.2 Sydney

Sydney radio station FM103.2 is joining
the communications
revolution with the
launch of a fresh state-of-the-art website
designed to impart
the Christian message
into the new media
environment.

Six months in the
making, the new look website
has been “tailored to
meet the demands of
today’s internet users.”

FM103.2 is positioning itself to be a
leading online media provider
in the global Christian media sector.

A cutting edge audio lounge using
podcasting, audio on demand and
multiple web radio streams will be features of the website, which aims to enhance the listener’s radio experience
by providing the convenience of
audio on demand.

FM103.2’s New Technologies Manager Andrew Morris has told radioinfo:

information hungry consumers who want to be able to access

Central to the improved site and key to its push
towards new media is FM103.2’s ‘Audio Lounge.’
The lounge boasts three unique areas – podcasting,
live radio streams and audio on demand.
FM103.2’s podcast area features the best of its daily and
weekly talk segments including Christian reflections from
author John Dickson, Christian news bulletins, bible studies
and high profile interviews from FM103.2’s new Sunday night
talkback show, Open House. Listeners and visitors are also able
to stream or download their favourite FM103.2 segments.

Then site also has three separate 24/7 web radio channels in its purpose
built media player which displays song information,
album covers and links to purchase music. The music
channels include FM103.2, its new Praise and Worship
station ‘Inspire’ and edgy youth channel ‘FRESH’.
