The ABC has come out on top in the latest GfK Newcastle survey.
It’s pipped KOFM at the post for the number one spot all people 10+.
KOFM dropped to a 14.7 share, with the ABC edging them out by point one of a percentage point to sit top of the ratings on 14.8.
NXFM also had a rise all people 10+ up from 10.7 to 10.9%. Triple J lifted 1.1% to sit third overall with an 11% share.
In breakfast, it was the ABC again dominating with a 20 point share. KOFM dipped -1.6 to have a 15.9% share while again, a lift for NXFM from 8.3 to a 9.6% share.

Life in the post Austereo, SCA world is certainly a troubled one for SCA stations when your once invincible Newcastle powerhouses are struggling against all other radio choices.
Also, if the surveyed 40+ stations are up in a Newcastle survey, it's likely that the very professional sounding, community radio 2NUR is returning improved results for its sponsors.
