Nova 100’s Brad Laesk wins 2017 Iron Imager

Nova 100 Melbourne’s Network Imaging Producer Brad Leask has beaten another Aussie, Sideshow Mike Anderson, for the honour of being the 2017 Iron Imager.

The Iron Imager contest, sponsored by Jingle/Imaging company Benztown, requires finalists to make a promo in one hour from material provided to them.

This year’s material featured the voice of Donald Trump and the synthetic voice of ‘Alexa’ aimed to make a promo for Power 95.7.

Last year’s winner Sideshow Mike put up a valiant effort, but was beaten by a promo from Leask. Listen to the promo he made below.

This is the 7th year the international contest has been running. Aussies have featured prominently as finalists over the life of the content, especially Sideshow Mike.

This year’s contest was judged at the All Access Worldwide Radio Summit at the W Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles.

See the presentation ceremony and listen to Brad Leask’s finalist entry below.
