Nova’s Cass to return to UK

Nova Entertainment’s Assistant Group Program Director and Nova 100 Program Director Mike Cass has tendered his resignation to return to the UK.

Over the past four years Cass has made many contributions to the company during his time in Perth and Melbourne, not the least creating the highly acclaimed Nova 100 Meshel & Tommy breakfast show and leading the implementation of NOVA Entertainment’s cutting edge playout system Zetta.

Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment’s Group Program Director said, “Mike is a great talent within the radio industry. He has been a big part of the team at NOVA Entertainment and can return to UK radio very proud of his time here.”

Cass added, “It has been an absolute career highlight to have been fortunate enough to work for NOVA Entertainment and I will miss the talented teams from around the country. Having to leave a team as creative, dedicated and inspiring as the team on and off-air at Nova 100 and return home to family and friends is probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve made.”

Mr Cass will remain in his role until 19 December and an announcement regarding his replacement will be made in due course.
