When you own leading talk and music stations in the one city there’s a good opportunity to mix and match talent. In Adelaide Nova’s Ryan Fitzy Fitzgerald has joined FIVEaa to chew the fat with Stephen Rowe and Graham Cornes on Adelaide’s number 1 weekday sports show.

The former Crows and Swans star, who says his career “was cut short by injury and lack of ability,” describes his playing style as a mixture between Tony Modra and Tony Lockett, “except I can’t mark or kick straight.”

Despite these shortcomings, Fitzy is passionate about sport and always has a lot to say.

Each Wednesday at 5.30pm Fitzy will go across the hall to take a look at sport on his AM sister station.

FIVEaa General Manager Paul Bartlett says Fitzy’s sense of humour, knowledge and strong views will make the Chewin the Fat segment a must for sports lovers.
