Nova’s man hunt

Meshel, Tim & Marty and Roadshow Entertainment are on a “Man Hunt” to uncover Australia’s every day, guys next door to create their own limited edition 2013 calendar.

Nova’s national Drive team is looking for nominations for listeners who think they have what it takes to be a calendar guy. The Man Hunt starts around the country this week.

Potential entrants have a week to be nominated by girlfriends, family and friends or to register themselves, with Meshel, Tim & Marty announcing the 20 finalists on Monday 14 November. Listeners around Australia will then have the chance to vote for their favourite finalists. The final 12 will be announced throughout the week of Monday 19 November with their calendar shoots scheduled that week.

Tim Blackwell said: “We are on the hunt for an everyday Aussie bloke, the guy next door, the nerd, the teacher or the chippie.” Marty is hoping he might be picked as Mr. April.

Roadshow Entertainment will throw a “smoking hot” party in Sydney on Wednesday 28 November to unveil the calendar. The 12 finalists will be flown in from around the country for the party with one finalist awarded the title of Australia’s Magic Mike and taking home $5000 for their efforts to coincide with the releaswe of the Magic Mike film on DVD.

“Roadshow is proud to be releasing THE hottest movie of the year onto DVD & Blu-ray, and proud to celebrate the release by partnering with Meshel, Tim & Marty to search for Australia’s own Magic Mike. We’re all hoping to find the next Channing Tatum!”

Meshel, Tim & Marty will announce all the details of their Man Hunt for Magic Mike next Monday. Check out www.novafm.com.au for pics and registrations for potential Man Hunt finalists.
