Nova’s quest to find the greatest ginga ninja

It started in Japan, became a nationwide phenomenon on the Nine Network, and now Nova 106.9‘s Ash, Kip & Luttsy have swung, jumped and climbed on the Ninja bandwagon.

The Brisbane radio breakfast trio recruited “persons of a red-haired persuasion” for their inaugural Ginga Ninja games.

Contestants fronted up, their hair colour credentials checked, and the competition was fierce – and dangerous as the course was in the sun.

The red-haired elites competing for Ginga Glory included seven males and three females – two of which were sisters.

The competition was commented by Nova’s resident red head, David “Luttsy” Lutteral but some of the best observations came from ex-NRL player, Jack Reed –

“He’s more agile than Prince Harry in Las Vegas”

“This guy is putting the nut into blood nut”

“This one’s a ginger, not a whinger”

The event was won by Stuart Steele, who walked away with $500 cash, his bodyweight in Buderim Ginger Beer and the glorious Ginger Ninja trophy.
