Nova’s Right to Bare Arms party

Nova 100’s Hughesy and Kate are celebrating men’s hot arms by holding a Right To Bare Arms Party at Hotel Barkley in St Kilda this tomorrow (Friday 17th) from 6pm.

Inspired by Nova’s Ben Cousins, who according to Kate Langbroek “has the best arms in the world”, the team decided to give the men of Melbourne the chance to show off their own hot arms. This came about after Kate endured months of Hughesy, Ed and Ash discussing breasts (real or fake), breasts and more breasts.

This Friday will be the chick’s turn with men’s arms the centre of attention.

Hughesy and Kate have put out the call for men to send in pics of their arms and have encouraged their girlfriends or friends to get on board and nominate their mate’s best arms. So far Kate has selected two finalists, 21 year-old Anthony and 28-year-old Lee Roy from Croydon. More finalists will be selected on the night.

The five finalists will show off their biceps in front of a panel of judges: Nova’s Kate Langbroek, Drive’s Monty, News Journalist Lauren Brain and DJ Jody McLeod. The winner will take home $2,000 and the title of Melbourne’s Best Arms.

To help the chicks pick the last finalist and to ensure the biceps and triceps are clearly defined for the competition, Hughesy and Kate have enlisted several female listeners for the task of oiling the guy’s arms.

Every guy who entered the competition has been invited to the party. As no party is complete without chicks and the guys need an audience to flex their arms to, Hughesy and Kate have extended the invite to 50 female listeners.

Nova loves to throw a party and what better excuse than for the Right To Bare Arms. The beers will be flowing and the arms will be flexed this Friday night.

The dress code is flexible for the night, with just one stipulation, arms must be on display so t-shirts and singlets are mandatory.
