Pandora fails to keep in step with streaming services

It’s understood Pandora is to close its Australia and New Zealand operations reportedly struggling to compete with Spotify and Apple Music for subscribers.

It was in March Pandora’s inaugural Managing Director for the ANZ region, Jane Huxley, left Pandora to pursue other opportunities.

Taly Yaniv, Director of Revenue Operations for ANZ, was appointed Interim Head with a permanent replacement never made

Meantime AdNews has reported ” ...Tim Westergreen, the founder of Pandora, is stepping down”.

The closure was confirmed to News Corp Australia by an employee this afternoon.

The music streaming business employs 60 people in Australia.
