Breakfast duo Pippa Moore & Jimi Love have just wrapped up another Postal Plebiscite.
 
It follows Jimi’s idea to rename Dubbo’s official nickname from Dubvegas to Dub-Angeles.
 
Local Mayor Ben Shields came on-board as the face of the No (keep Dubvegas) campaign.
 
Local, national & international celebrities came on-board to show their support including:
-Cricketer Kevin Pieterson
-Comedian & Hit Network Drive Announcer Dave Hughes
-Local Member Troy Grant
-Federal Member for Parkes Mark Coulton

In the end, Dubbo has voted to keep Dubvegas as its original nickname – winning 98% over 2% for Dub-Angeles.
