Radio pioneer passes away at 87

Former 4GG announcer, Ralph Taylor has died peacefully in his sleep on Friday night, with members of his family by his side.  

He was in his 87th year.
 
Ralph was a true pioneer of commercial radio in Queensland but his greatest achievement, he told collegues was the establishment of 4GG as the first Gold Coast station. Now known as Gold FM and part of the SCA stable.
 
Funeral details are yet to be advised.
