GOLD, Central Victoria has a new team, starting Monday week.
It’s called The Wake Up Call with Robbo & Lonergan.
Mark Robinson and Dan Lonergan team up to give Central Victorians a chance to hear what is really going on in our backyard. They promise to talk to the movers and shakers and deliver a lively mix of news, music and entertainment along with the odd dad joke from Mark.
Both Mark and Dan are really excited about the opportunity to work together to bring a fresh approach to Breakfast Radio and help continue the growth of audience for GOLD FM 98.3/AM 1071.
GOLD Central Victoria’s content director Daniel Brewer says: “We pride ourselves on localism & know that both Mark & Dan will deliver what is needed to our listeners”.
Mark has over 25 years’ radio experience, working in cities including Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne and Dublin, saying “I am excited to be back home and can’t wait to get started with The Wake Up Call”.
Dan brings more than 30 years’ journalistic experience to the team having covered events across Australia and Overseas. “After a long and varied career this is a first for me working on a commercial breakfast show & looking forward to the challenge”.
