Boom Radio, North Metropolitan TAFE’s student-operated station, is broadcasting live from the IGA Perth Royal Show for their sixth year.
 
The station will be conducting a week long live outdoor broadcast at the annual event that runs from this Saturday.
 
Boom has recently completed a three-day broadcast from the Skills West Expo at the Perth Convention Centre and Head of Radio, Phillip Vinciullo, believes the Perth Royal Show offers a fantastic opportunity.
 
He says “It’s like boot camp for OB’s!  It’s a great learning opportunity for our Diploma and Advanced Diploma students to improve on skills they’ve learnt throughout the course and further develop their live presentation and outside broadcast techniques.”
 
Boom will be broadcasting live from 10am – 5pm daily
