Tomorrow, 104.7 FM in Canberra’s Scotty and Nige celebrate their 1500th breakfast show together since their very first in May 2007. They’ll feature some of their many highs and lows across the morning plus welcome a few guests into the studio and a few surprises.
 
The 104.7 Black Thunder crew will be on the streets delivering one of the greatest clichés in radio – ‘presents on our birthday’ – and cutting a super-sized cake in the station car park with a few hundred listeners.
 
Over 1500 shows Scotty and Nige have won ACRA’s for stunts including crushing laptops with steam rollers and inventing Daredevil Bingo. They’ve also been commended for their work in the community, most recently raising over $150,000.00 for the Cancer Support Group via the Convoy for Cancer Families.
