C91.3 listener scores signature-embellished car in giveaway.

Macarthur’s C91.3 Breakfast Show hosts Lyndal and Josh have surprised Minto local Shirley Imber by pulling up at her workplace and handing over the keys to a Hyundai i30, sporting the signatures of 716 people.

Over the past 3 weeks, the car has been touring the streets of the Macarthur region collecting the signatures of C91.3 listeners, for a chance to have the vehicle delivered in person by Lyndal and Josh.

During this morning’s live broadcast from the Hyundai, the Breakfast team revealed the winner’s location at Wests League Club after discovering she had left home early for work. Shirley’s boss Kevin was on hand to help and found an excuse for her to be out the front of the club just as Lyndal and Josh pulled up.

After entering the competition by signing the car last Tuesday morning at Minto train station, Shirley said “It’s a dream come true, I never expected anything like this…I’m blown away.”

At being handed over the keys, Shirley asked if the signatures would be removed to which Josh replied, “We’re giving you a rag and some turps!”
