The South West is about to get some hot country

KIX Country South West is about to launch on Australia’s West Coast.

 
The station will launch on December 1st on DAB+ Digital Radio broadcasting on the first provincial DAB+ multiplexer operated by West Coast Radio.
 
KIX Country South West will complement current stations 917 The Wave and 973 Coast FM with a lineup that will include the Ray Hadley Country Music hour and the Caravanning and Off-Road Radio show with the Duck.
 
West Coast Content Director, John De Bellis said there was a buzz around the station in the lead up to the launch with some of the team have even started coming to work wearing their Akubras.
 
He says, “As the date gets closer, the team is really excited. Country Music has such a mass appeal. It’s a popular brand we have wanted to bring to the South West for many years. It reflects our great lifestyle – You will love it”.
