Spots & Space appoints a new GM

Media representative Spots & Space are expanding their team and have appointed Santosh Murthy to the role of General Manager.

Director at Spots & Space, Lee Hubber, says, “With media and advertising adopting a global footprint, local and specialised media is attracting more attention from advertisers that want to connect with and engage the communities they operate in. This shift is driving increased revenue to Spots & Space’s media partners and it underpins this expansion.

Santosh Murthy has worked with broadcast, print and digital media organisations across Australia and New Zealand during his time at the AAP Newswire.

He adds a depth of experience in digital marketing from MyDMT, who provided the digital backend to the marketing industry.”

Santosh has also recently completed an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM).

He will manage Spots & Space’s day-to-day operations and the sales effort on behalf of more than 600 media partners and in particular will oversee the development of new initiatives to unlock an increasingly diverse relationship between the media and their audiences.

“Reaching local communities through diverse media has never been more relevant, and I am excited to have the opportunity to take Spots & Space through this renewed phase of growth and expansion” said Santosh.

Spots & Space is currently in the process of hiring a Campaign Coordinator.
