After more than a year, the 4BH Secret Sound has finally gone off, with a former strawberry farmer pocketing a cool $13 200.

4BH breakfast team, Kim Mothershaw and Leisa Sheehan, could not believe their ears yesterday morning when the popular competition was won.

Kerryn Woolmer of Chambers Flat had somewhat of an edge on other contenders, correctly identifying the sound as ‘tearing apart a large strawberry’.

The 4BH team was very keen to give the money away and the clues were becoming less and less cryptic as time went by.

A very excited Woolmer says: “I don’t know what I’ll do with the winnings, but strawberries and cream are definitely on the menu for dessert!”
