Greg Burns takes the reins while the breakfast teams in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide break for Christmas. 

From Monday 11 December, Summer Breakfast with Greg Burns will feature journalists Matt de Groot from Fitzy & Wippa’s show, and Nova Entertainment’s Katie Hill. 

A broadcaster and stand-up comic, Greg is known to Nova listeners from filling in for Fitzy & Wippa during the spring break and Christmas last years. 

Burns said, ‘I’m so excited to be taking control of Nova breakfast at the best time of the year, with a fantastic crew, and to announce Nova’s latest Red Room with an artist who was responsible for the single greatest gig I’ve ever been to in my life … beyond excited.’

Hailing from Capitol Radio in the UK, Greg joined the Nova Network in July 2016.

Summer Breakfast with Greg Burns will be heard from 11 to 15 December from 6am to 9am, returning for three weeks after Christmas from 2 January to 19 January from 7am. 

Nova Adelaide’s Lewis & Lowe with Haley Pearson will return on Monday 15 January at 6am, while Sydney’s Fitzy & Wippa and Melbourne’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny will return on Monday 22 January at 6am.
