There’s pure gold in them there bands

It was a sellout event at Sydney’s venerable Hordern Pavilion on Saturday for the Pure Gold Live concert put on by WSFM.

It was a fitting venue for a night of hits and memories with twelve of Australia’s most well-loved 70s, 80s and 90s hit makers gracing the stage that hosted them back in the day..

WS FM101.7’s Jonesy & Amanda were MCs for the massive night celebrating Australian music, taking audiences on a rockin’ trip listening to music that they know and love.

Legendary artists Dragon, Mi-Sex, Eurogliders, GANGgajang, Machinations, Wendy Matthews, Moving Pictures, 1927, Rose Tattoo, Pseudo Echo, Jon Stevens, and John “Swanee” Swan all rocked the roof off the Hordern on Saturday night with the crowd on their feet and singing along to the hits that truly have stood the test of time.

This was the first Pure Gold Live event. Judging by the response, it won’t be the last.
