They’re back and firing

They “secretly” drove us home last week and with the dress rehearsal over, as of July 13th Hamish and Andy are officially back on-air.

The duo, lured back by Southern Cross Austereo for a reported $4 million dollars each are back in the drive slot, ready to go head to head with Nova‘s Kate, Tim amd Marty and KiiS FM‘s Hughesy and Kate.

Hamish and Andy are broadcasting live for their first official show with 500 listeners on a boat moored at Darling Harbour in Sydney.

They kicked the show off releasing two homing pidgeons (which are yet to be named but the obvious suggestions were “Hamish” and “Andy” or “Ultimate” and “Wingman”).

There are further plans during the launch party to fire Andy from a canon.
