The Today Network’s national websites will relaunch on the Fairfax Digital platform next Monday with enhanced content, competitions and brand new Today exclusives. Austereo and Fairfax Digital have partnered to share online content and technology. The relaunch of these Today Network sites follows Triple M’s relaunch last year.

Some of the highlights of the new sites include exclusive show features, streaming live audio, behind the scenes videos, celebrity galleries, movies, music news and blogs.

The Today Network’s headline talent, including Kyle and Jackie O, Matt and Jo and Hamish and Andy will have major presence on the sites giving listeners the chance to interact with their favourite shows on another platform.

Austereo’s Head of Digital Strategy Jeremy Macvean told radioinfo the launch will be the next step in Austereo’s expansion of its online presence.

“Our websites are absolutely going off with an increasing depth of content and new functionality. Every Today Network website was the number 1 local radio site in its state during April, and then in May our unique browsers and page impressions went up by another 13% and 33% respectively! We’ve set ourselves ambitious growth targets and are smashing them.”
