Tony Hadley joins smoothfm weekends

Tony Hadley, singer, song writer, actor and radio presenter will return to the smoothfm line up in the countdown to Christmas.

Hadley, best known as the lead singer of the 80’s band Spandau Ballet, is set to entertain smoothfm listeners on Sunday nights starting from 1st December weekly until 22 December from 6pm, and will also be part of smoothfm’s  line up on Christmas Eve from 6pm.

Hadley’s smoothfm weekend shows come after the recent announcement of his solo Australian tour in February/March next year where, accompanied by a full band, he will perform Spandau Ballet’s biggest hits as well as new material from his album Talking To The Moon.

Hadley said “I’m so looking forward to touring  Australia  and playing all the classic hits because I love the response from fans. People ask  if I get bored singing “True”, “Gold” and “Through The Barricades”, and I don’t as  every  audience  is  differentl  But I’m looking  forward to playing some of the new stuff, and I love getting a  reaction  from this tool”

While Hadley will host the shows on Sunday night, Robbie Williams will be heard at the same time of 6pm Saturday.
